We can all convince ourselves
Of anything we can conceive
I can think and think
Decide, persuade and believe
I need no one but me
To find a reason
I can be the enemy
So I will find those I trust
With my thoughts + dreams
And get the support I must
On some my counsel is my own
On issues close to heart
Those that shape and define
But always learning new
Always gaining view
Never settling for less than I desire
Even in the face of those who conspire
